The development of a recycling process for rare-earth-containing waste is important improving the resource conservation and security rare-earth metals. Phase equilibria between molten fluoride oxide were investigated to develop novel neodymium magnets based on flux-remelting method. LiF—rare-earth (REF3, RE = Nd, Dy) mixtures oxides (RE2O3, selected, phase in Nd2O3−NdF3−Li2O−LiF Dy2O3−DyF3−Li2O−LiF systems by differential thermal analysis chemical equilibrating It was revealed that compounds NdOF, Nd4O3F6, DyOF, Dy4O3F6 stable as an equilibrium at 1473 K.
